プリブルース期の多彩な音楽を伝える1枚です。(1)～(14）、(23)～(26）がCDタイトルのSinnersの部分です。ワークソングを歌う無伴奏男性ボーカルグループ、ハープソロと動物のなき真似を聴かす芸人、そしてソングスター的人々。ブルースもありますが、ミンストレルソング、バラード調の曲が多く、(13)(14)では古いバンジョーサウンドが聴けます。ベネットの軽快な(11)、アンダーソン&ドーリーの軽いデュエット4曲が聴き物。(15)～(22)がSaintsの部分で微妙に俗の要素もありますが、ニューグレイプ・ツインズは夫婦ゴスペルデュオで、のどかなハーモニーを聴かせます。(21)(22)のヘイズは、ストリートミュージシャンの匂いに泣けます。
